Union Missionary Baptist Church was established on April 5, 1913 in Knox County, Tennessee. The original church burned shortly after this date and a white weatherboard building
was erected that housed the church until 1943. A red brick church was erected and was used until 1967, when the present sanctuary was built. In
1990, a fellowship hall was added to the church. In 1999, the adjacent property was purchased for future
consideration.
